Good view of the 100 block of the north side of West Main around 1960. The Avalon Theatre is visible in the distance just beyond the new Everett National Bank building on the northwest corner of Main and Blakely. The building OK Sundries is in burned around this time and OK Sundries moved to the old Monroe National Bank building at the far right. The Monroe Monitor building (the "News" sign) was remodeled in the early 1960s.
