Students with Teacher in front of the Second Wagner School in 1907 The Wagner School District was formed in 1891 and shortly afterwards a school building was constructed on the north side of Wagner Road where it met Woods Creek Road when Hiram Pearsall donated the one-acre site. The original school building was replaced in 1904 with this one. Originally called the Woods Settlement School and then the Stephensville School, it only became the Wagner School after George Wagner and his partners bought the Stephens Brother Mill in 1906.
