Recent Updates
July 2008
The new Webmaster
has finally gotten the programs needed to beging updates on this
website. New articles are being edited and will appear
soon. Watch for changes in the near future.
May 26
No significant updates have been made to the website since September
except for the addition of Nellie Robertson's Thumbnail
History of Monroe because the webmaster's computer has had to two
hard drive crashes and a hard drive wipe, and because the webmaster has
signficant other commitments.
Dec. 5
There will be no general update for November and December because in
recovering from the hard drive crash (see Septmeber's non-update
below), the webmaster's computer received a corrupt Microsoft automatic
update. After much frustration, I took it to Jack at PC Select who did
a great job but even working with Microsoft he could not correct the
problem, so the only solution in the end was to wipe my hard drive.
Oct. 3
Posted the October cover feature, Monroe
Union High School and related photos.
Sept. 16
There will be no general update for September because the webmaster's
new computer ate all the files--better known as the hard drive crashed
and because the said computer's expensive extended warranty mandates
that said computer be shipped to somehwere beyond the former planet
Pluto's orbit for repair. Newsletter items and a different cover photo
feature have now been added thanks to Rhonda Dicksion's loan of a
